nice bar, excellent selection of specailty beers especially their ales. friendly staff with good music

Small but friendly locals pub in the heart of all the shops and just outside the walls. Don't like to show football or allow sportswear/ baseball caps. Keep a nice pint and you can also get good coffee.Cask ales are popular here and food is served 12-2.30. basic pub menu but Sunday lunches are very nice.Small beer garden & nice hanging baskets. Advertise 'husband creche' for the ladies who want to shop with reluctant men in tow!
